In an effort to find new reasons for models to avoid doing shoots with me, I'm experimenting with pouring bags of flour over the model from a ladder. I like the water-like sense of movement.

More splash photos.  It's one of my favorite cliches along with smoking photos and using vintage sunglasses as a prop.  I need to get a photo of a model smoking in a shower while wearing vintage sunglasses.

This exotic location is less than a mile from my studio.  I've been ignoring it for years.

Strange heat wave here in the Chicago area. Middle 80s in March. I took the opportunity to shoot out on the back deck of my studio without freezing the model.

Light through the window.

Another photo using only a crack of window light. This model (for reasons of her own) wanted to pose holding a clock. You have to be flexible sometimes.

Soft window light and water droplets can make a moody, interesting texture.
